For more than 15 years, we’ve spent our days and nights wheeling ‘round the nation’s capital slinging juicy, beautiful burgers for our favourite people. At times it’s been a bumpy ride, but our journey is one we’re proud to share. The fire in our bellies comes from keeping yours well-fed.
2009: THE BIRTH OF A LEGEND
A humble red caravan by Canberra’s Lake Burley Griffin gave rise to a foodie rebellion. Sascha and Joelle, a husband-and-wife duo, unknowingly created a force to be reckoned with – Brodburger. Their juicy, handcrafted burgers lured Canberrans from every corner of the city, forming queues that stretched for hours. A burger revolution was born.
2010: THE VANISHING CARAVAN
Dark times fell upon the red caravan when the ACT Government declared it unfit for its lakeside home. Forced to move, the people of Canberra rallied behind their beloved Brodburger, igniting a movement so strong that the government helped the legend find refuge within the walls of the Canberra Glassworks.
2014: THE RETURN OF THE CARAVAN
The OG red caravan made a triumphant comeback, this time reimagined at The Hamlet in Braddon. Here, Brodburger unveiled BrodDogs, hotdogs that quickly became a staple for the city’s foodies.
2017: THE BREWHOUSE ALLIANCE
The Brod team went bigger and bolder, rolling out a colossal red caravan at Capital Brewing Co. in Fyshwick. With beer in one hand and a burger in the other, Canberrans celebrated this perfect pairing. Embracing the future, Brodburger also launched its online ordering platform, finally quelling the infamous wait times.
2019: AGAINST ALL ODDS
The iconic caravan journeyed to Coop at Soho in Dickson, braving summer bushfire smoke and the early days of Covid. Later that year, against all odds, Brodburger expanded to Woden, proving that nothing could stop their mission to spread burger joy across the city.
2024: A NEW FRONTIER
The saga continues in Tuggeranong with Brod at South.Point Shopping Centre. This latest chapter unveils the most epic menu yet, alongside big screens, family-friendly spaces, and endless possibilities.
